The 682 Series from MARL builds on the company’s proven design heritage. It features an 8.1mm mounting IP67-sealed LED indicator housed in black anodised aluminium with a smoked lens.
This latest evolution is engineered to withstand extreme environmental conditions, including temperatures from -51 to +75°C making it one of the most robust solutions available for mission-critical applications.
It can be vital in many markets, particularly defence and transport and other demanding industries, for lighting and indication components to be tested and proven reliable in a range of environmental conditions. This can include rapid changes in temperature, extreme temperatures, changes in pressure, shock, and vibration.
The 682 Series has been specifically designed for military-grade performance and tested to UKAS Accredited specifications, ensuring consistent operation at temperatures down to -51°C.
The rigorous testing methodology includes a four-day thermal stabilisation process, confirming durability and reliability under prolonged stress.
The LED indicator has a reverse protection diode fitted as standard to safeguard against incorrect polarity installation. The indicators feature a wide viewing angle and are IP67 weatherproof, whilst the internal potting ensures the indicators are able to withstand high vibration applications.
The 682 Series is available in red or green colour with an operating voltage range of 24-28Vdc, standard terminations are 2.8mm push on tabs with flying lead versions available as an option. Other colours and voltages can be support to individual request.
