The ADG1712 from Analog Devices integrates four independent CMOS single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switches capable of operating from low-voltage single supplies of +1.08 to +5.5V or dual supplies of ±1.08 to ±2.75V.

Each switch offers rail-to-rail signal handling, allowing bidirectional conduction with minimal distortion while switching analog or digital signals.

With a typical on-resistance of 2.4Ω, the ADG1712 minimises insertion loss and ensures accurate signal transmission.

Logic inputs are compatible with both 1.8 and 3.3V JEDEC-standard logic, enabling seamless integration with microcontrollers and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Designed in a compact 16-lead, 2 x 2mm LGA package, this device achieves high performance without occupying excessive printed-circuit board (PCB) area.

Engineered for precision applications, the ADG1712 supports operation over a wide temperature range from -40 to +125°C, making it reliable in industrial, automotive, and instrumentation environments.

Applications include automated test and measurement systems, data acquisition front-ends, medical instrumentation, FPGA and microcontroller-controlled signal routing, audio/video signal muxing or relay replacement and communication systems requiring compact, low-loss switching.
