It delivers up to 3A of continuous output and supports a wide input voltage range from 3.3 to 36V.
Available in a compact SOT23-6L package, it operates at a fixed 500kHz or 1MHz switching frequency, enabling the use of small inductors.
The device features optional frequency dithering for improved EMI performance and operates with a low quiescent current of approximately 85µA.
It is internally protected by soft-start, peak current-mode control, and overcurrent (OCP), overtemperature (OTP), and overvoltage (OVP) safeguards.
Two versions are offered, including low consumption mode (LCM) for light-load efficiency and low noise mode (LNM) for noise-sensitive applications.
Compliance with RoHS and Ecopack3, along with a compact footprint and internal compensation, makes the DCP3603BCMR ideal for industrial, smart metering, appliance, and 24V bus applications. Evaluation support is available via the STEVAL-3603BC1 board and reference designs.
