Rutronik adds Lumberg high-current contact to expand 45 series

Rutronik, the German electronics distributor, has added the Lumberg 4580 01 high-current contact to its portfolio, enhancing its established 45 series.

The new component combines high mechanical stability, compact design, and cost efficiency, the company said.

The 4580 01 features three-sided pluggability, allowing more versatile integration into modular system architectures.

It is designed for reliable power transmission in demanding applications, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +120 °C.

Certified to LV 215 and VW 80332 standards, the contact meets rigorous safety and quality requirements, particularly for high-voltage automotive systems.
