Altus Group has expanded its collaboration with Contract Electronics Manufacturer Sellectronics through the installation of a PVA Delta 8 conformal coating and fluid dispensing system, as the company seeks to enhance its manufacturing precision and capacity.
The move marks a further deepening of ties between the two firms, built over several years of joint projects, and underscores growing demand in the UK electronics sector for high-accuracy coating and dispensing technologies that meet stringent quality and compliance standards.
Sellectronics’ investment in the Delta 8, supplied by Altus, forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen production efficiency and product reliability amid a tightening regulatory landscape. The system includes a three-axis motion platform for improved rigidity and process consistency, with servo-controlled four-axis motion to support complex geometries and multiple dispensing applications.
Altus, which was recently appointed exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for PVA—one of the world’s leading providers of dispensing technology—said the agreement reflected its focus on combining cutting-edge equipment with strong local technical support.
