It ensures contacts are fully seated while providing an added measure against contact backout with optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA). An audible latch provides cap and plug mating confirmation and ribs designed to protect the latch eliminate wire snags. Keying and colour coded housings prevent mis-mating during assembly. An optional Connector Position Assurance (CPA) guarantees connector system engagement in high vibration applications.
