The Supplier of the Year 2011 award for ASICs was presented to Renesas Electronics by Dr. Elmar Degenhart, Chairman of Continental’s Executive Board. In his speech to the 370 guests at the Supplier Day 2012, Dr. Degenhart emphasised the vital role that reliable and flexible suppliers play in Continental’s success. The award selection process is based on an analysis of each supplier’s services, grading them against criteria in several categories, including quality, technology, logistics, costs and purchasing conditions.
