The detectors are primarily used in gas measurement technology. In the standard version of the PbSe multicolour detector, gas filters are integrated to filter for hydrocarbons (3.34µm), CO2 (4.26µm), and CO (4.60µm). The full width half maximum is 140nm each. A reference filter at 3.85µm with a full width half maximum of 200nm is also integrated.
Cooled PbSe Multicolour Detectors
CAL Sensors expanded the series of multiple channel detectors with filters. A thermoelectrically cooled version with the following description was added to the series: MBXT1S-18T-4. Compared to the uncooled version, the sensitivity and performance have been increased.
