The S11049-02SB is designed for optical switches and provides an analogue waveform output; proportional to the intensity of incident pulsed light.
The SIP package measures just 5.2 x 5.2 x 2.0mm, creating a very small footprint. This, and the low cost of the sensor, makes it ideal for high volume applications.
