Tektronix Addresses Test & Measurement Challenges with DesignInsight Mobile Expo

Tektronix has announced the start of its DesignInsight Mobile Expo tour across the US and Canada. The tour is a unique program that brings state-of-the-art Tektronix equipment to engineers at their workplace, allowing hands-on learning and evaluation opportunities that would previously have only been possible with costly travel and time away from the office. Beginning with visits to customer sites in the San Francisco Bay Area on April 20th, the DesignInsight Mobile Expo tour will also make a stop at Cisco Systems’ annual ‘Toolapalooza’ event, and then will travel throughout the US and Canada to customer sites, ending in the US Midwest in August.

In today’s economic climate, travel expenses are under severe scrutiny and engineers are finding it harder to learn about new testing technologies. In response, Tektronix is bringing technology and insight directly to engineers. In this spring/summer tour of the DesignInsight Mobile Expo, Tektronix engineers will be sharing the latest testing techniques with specific tutorials available such as; DDR memory bus analysis, switching power supply evaluation, validation of radar system performance, and conducting link analysis with FFE/DFE equalization effects on serial data systems.

“Engineers are faced with many challenges in their development efforts and we are committed to helping them understand what new techniques are available to do their job more efficiently,” said Mike Rizzo, director of Americas marketing, Tektronix. The DesignInsight Mobile Expo provides an easy and convenient way to have hands-on access to the latest test and measurement techniques and equipment to solve their latest design challenges—from memory buses to RF/electronic warfare systems.”
