Artila’s ARM9 PAC-5070 Integrates Data Acquisition

Artila Electronics Co., Ltd., an emerging force in embedded networking and computing, announced their PAC-5070, an ARM9-based single board computer with advanced data acquisition capability. The PAC-5070 integrates low power ARM9 SoC, isolated digital and analog I/O, 64MB SDRAM and 16MB flash memory with pre-installed Linux OS into a compact and DIN RAIL mountable module.

Equipped with four channels of 16-bit sigma-delta A/D, the PAC-5070’s fully isolated design allows accurate measurement within harsh and noisy environments. Eight channels of photo isolated input and high drive transistor output are available for digital I/O monitor and control.

PAC-5070 key features include:

1. 180MHz ARM9 CPU, 64MB SDRAM and 16MB Flash
2. Pre-built Linux 2.6 OS with file system
3. 4 channels isolated 16-bit multiplexed analog inputs
4. 8 channels opto-isolated digital inputs
5. 8 channels 500mA high-drive output
6. Two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports
7. One RS-232 and one RS-485 port
8. Two USB 2.0 host ports for add-on functions
9. One SD memory card slot for storage expansion
10. GNU C/C++ tool chain for Linux and Windows platform
11. 9~40 VDC input range
12. Industrial DIN RAIL Mounting
