Portable Optical Power Meter Series with Long Wavelength (LW) Probe

GAO Fiber Optics launched its upgraded, highly accurate optical power meter series . with a LW probe and a thin film switch. Utilizing a single-chip microcontroller, this versatile optical power meter series is widely used in the construction, maintenance and measurement of fiber optic cables and optical fiber sensors. The handheld, durable design and simple operation make it suitable for on-the-spot measurements in the field.

The optical power meter series, model 4C, adheres to ISO 9001 quality management standard. A high resolution LCD screen is provided to clearly display power value and absolute and relative attenuation value. Each meter provides a FC optical interface; 4C01 and 4C04 also have ST and SC interfaces. This power meter series features automatic range switching, automatic reset and shutdown, low battery alarm and high measurement accuracy of ±5%. Each member of the power meter family supports 1300nm, 1310nm, 1480nm and 1550nm working wavelengths and 4C04 further supports 850nm. The optical power meters can work continuously for more than eight hours when they are fully charged.
