TRACE32® PowerTools for the ATMEL AVR32 family

Lauterbach, the leading manufacturer of hardware assisted microprocessor development tools, has launched a new tool which provides support for the ATMEL AVR32 microcontroller family. Lauterbach’s TRACE32 provides two alternative options for debugging the AVR32 family.

The PowerDebug family provides debugging through the JTAG interface for the entire debug process including code download, flash programming and source code debugging. Then the PowerTrace system adds real-time trace features to the basic debug functionality by utilizing the Nexus interface of the chip.

The tools can be connected to either Windows or Linux hosts via USB 2.0 or Ethernet 10/100/1000. The TRACE32 PowerView software includes an efficient and user friendly HLL debugger for C and C++ as well as awareness most of the commonly available real-time operating systems. All TRACE32 PowerTools comply with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive.
