CIL bucks the trend with recruitment programme

Andover-based electronics manufacturing and design company, Custom Interconnect (CIL), is flying in the face of negative forecasts for the electronics manufacturing sector and has embarked on a major recruitment plan.

Recruiting across all areas and at all levels of age and experience, CIL is looking for trainees as an extension of the apprentice scheme it started last year and is also seeking qualified test technicians and skilled IPC 610 operators for both the general production area and electronics micro packaging clean rooms. Quality engineers and administration staff are also being recruited.

CIL sales manager, Chris Heal said: “This programme is required to meet increased levels of business that we have experienced across all areas and is an essential part of our long term growth plans.”
