By default, the sensor is operated at 4.5 to 5.5 VDC and thus has a signal of several volts on its output. However, it can also be adapted to a supply voltage of 2.75 to 3.3 VDC.
Depending on the measurement range, accuracy overall is 1.8 to 2.2% over the entire temperature-compensated range of 0 to 50 °C. The temperature-compensated range can optionally be extended to 0 to 85 °C.
Digital technology is increasingly common even in these small sensors. The same sensor is also available with an I2C or SPI interface with a selectable sampling rate of 8 Hz, 40 Hz, 200 Hz or 1 kHz. Here, too, supply voltages of 2.75 to 3.3 VDC or 4.75 to 5.25 VDC are supported.
The smallest measurement range is 0 to 2 mbar and the greatest is 10 bar for absolute pressure, overpressure, underpressure or differential pressure. Customer-specific measurement ranges are possible even for smaller lot sizes.
Typical applications of this intelligent CCD54 pressure sensor can be found in medical and laboratory technology, in heating, ventilation, air technology and process metrology, in leak measurement and in pneumatics.
