Compact test probes from Multi-Contact enable use in confined spaces

Probes for oscilloscopes and similar test equipment often need to be used by electronics engineers in areas where space is tight. Conventional scope leads can be too bulky in these conditions, so Multi-Contact has introduced the Isoprobe IV range of compact probes.

Despite their size, the new passive, high frequency test probes offer CAT III touch protection at 300V and retain the excellent high frequency characteristics of Multi-Contact’s Isoprobe III range.

The probes are available with 10:1 and 100:1 dividing ratios, and can be supplied singly or with an accessory set which includes push on adapters and a reference lead with crocodile clip.

Input capacitance is 11 pF for the 10:1 ratio models and 4.9 pF for the 100:1 probes. Both types have a rise-time of only 0.9 ns and a frequency range of up to 500 MHz.
