Freescale’s QorIQ P1025 Data Concentrator reference design enables communication to smart grid meters in the smart grid on a Neighborhood Area Network or NAN. Tthe reference design is capable of a variety of usage models that include smart energy device discovery, communication protocol and uplink communication to the utility server.
