Rob was previously an active member of the European PSMA (EPSMA) where he served five years as a member of the management committee, including three years as vice-chairman.
The PSMA is a non-profit, democratic and participative organisation whose main and common goal is to enhance the stature of the power supply industry and provide education and information through published reports, seminars, technical workshops and conference exhibits. The PSMA’s membership consists of power supply manufacturers, users, power component suppliers, academics and consultants.
Rob’s election, which was confirmed at the recent Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) show in Austin, TX, is with immediate effect. Commenting on his election Rob said: “I am very proud and excited to be elected to the PSMA Board of Directors. My time and involvement with the EPSMA has demonstrated my commitment to contributing fully to industry associations and through this new role I am looking forward to working with PSMA in helping further the best interests of the power industry as a whole.”
