96 LTE protocol test cases validated by CETECOM

CETECOM has recently submitted 88 protocol test cases (3GPP TS 36.523-1) on Anite test platform (Anite Conformance Toolset / Anite 9000 Mobile Test Accelerator [TP113]) to the Global Certification Forum (GCF) for validation. This work has now been ratified during the GCF-CAG#22 meeting (20-21 April 2010) held in Beijing, China in FDD-7 and additionally in FDD-13.

At the beginning of 2010 GCF had already approved ten (10) LTE protocol test cases, which were presented on the CAG#21 meeting in Sophia Antipolis, France (26-27 January 2010). The recent developments are a big step forward in the improvement of CETECOM’s LTE services and test solutions; improvements made possible by a long validation experience, a strong partnership, and excellent collaboration with Anite.

Furthermore, CETECOM is the only test laboratory actively contributing to the LTE standardisation process in 3GPP RAN5. We are constantly improving our services and test solutions to maintain a high level of quality as we adapt to meet the markets’ needs, said Dr. Harald Ansorge, CTO of CETECOM according to the recent results at the GCFCAG# 22 meeting. “With this goal in mind it is very exciting to be part of this important process.” “Anite are delighted with the expertise that CETECOM has provided during the validation of the Anite LTE test cases,” said James Goodwin, Product Manager with Anite. “Working together has ensured that we continue to achieve our mutual goal of meeting the needs of our customers with the most comprehensive LTE protocol testing products available on the market today.”
