Short Depth 2U Screen Keyboard Drawers

Austin Hughes Europe has announced the new RKP series 2U short depth LCD Keyboard drawers. Using a 15”, 17 or 19 SAMSUNG Class ‘A’ LCD panel these short depth drawers are only 480 mm deep making them ideal to fit into a 500mm + depth racks with KVM capability. They have improved aesthetics with a new front panel design that encompasses two quick release screen locking points and are supplied with ‘One Man’ installation slides. The dual slide drawer is ideal where the screen needs to be viewed directly behind a closed cabinet door with the keyboard in its parked position.

The drawers are available as standard with both USB and PS/2 (Combo) connectivity and with either touchpad or trackball in most European keyboard language layouts. Touchpad or trackball Compact keyboards are also available in US format.

The KVM options include 8 or 16 port USB /PS2 combo versions, 16 or 32 port Cat 6 interfaces with or without IP, which support one or two independent users. Also the latest 8, 16 or 32 port Matrix Cat 6 interfaces with or without IP, which support two, three or four independent users. The KVM enabled units can be stacked with the CV and U series of rack mount KVM switches to enable access up to 256 servers.

Other options include BNC + S-Video, Touch Screen USB or Serial, DVI-D, Audio and various DC power inputs.
