PMC-Sierra was the only semiconductor solutions provider to receive this award. Other companies recognized in the top ten list included: Huawei, FiberHome, ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent, and Ericsson.

In China, PMC-Sierra provides leading semiconductor solutions for Metro Optical Transport equipment, Wireless Infrastructure equipment, and Fiber To The Home equipment (EPON, GPON and 10G EPON).
The selection process ranked each company on the basis of two categories: Brand Awareness (high level of customer satisfaction and brand popularity); and Brand Prospect (cultivation of brand with outstanding technology innovation, corporate culture and company management).
