Resistive touch screen version is available for all TFT modules in the range with the 2.4” and 2.8” displays come with optically bonded touch sensors to enable excellent sunlight readability.
Apart from comparable performance, the new TFT range is also mechanically compatible with AMOLED displays. Take the 2.4” TFT as an example, its thickness, resolution and colour depth are identical to a Densitron AMOLED of the same size, and has interfacing (MPU 8/9/16/18bit) and overall dimensions (42 mm x 59 mm) which are very similar to a 2.4” Densitron AMOLED.
