High performance Mini-ITX SBC supports Second Generation Sandy Bridge processors

The BVM Group has launched the LV-67G, a high performance Mini-ITX motherboard, ideal for demanding heavy processing tasks such as industrial control and automation, retail POS and ticketing, gaming, print imaging and digital signage. Based on the Q67 Express Chipset, it supports the second-generation Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors in the LGA1155 socket with up to 16GB of 1333 MHz DIMM. Intel Pentium and Xeon processors are also supported. Embedded HD VGA and Realtek ALC888 Codec HD audio are provided with line and MIC inputs, 5.1 and SPDIF outputs for applications where rich A/V is required.

Mass storage is enabled through two 300MB/s SATA II interfaces built in to the Q67 chipset and a further two 600MB/s SATA III interfaces are also supplied. Data security is ensured with support for RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10; Intel Rapid Storage Technology is also supported. External interfaces include two GigaLAN ports, eight USB2.0 ports, a 26-pin DVI interface and a programmable 8-bit digital I/O GPIO interface.
