The addition of this connector to the HARTING range opens up the possibility of special VME64x applications with a second backplane added to the rear of the primary VME64x backplane. This second backplane makes it possible to implement applications for which the standard VME64x backplane performance would not be enough.
The new connector is an addition to HARTING’s Har-bus connector range, and is fully compatible with Har-bus 64 daughter card connectors.
