Leading the range is Arcol’s new RCC series of carbon composition resistors, providing very high pulse capability and low inductance. Available in 0.25 W and 0.5 W power dissipations, the RCC is a solid axial lead carbon slug resistor offering resistance values between 2.2 and 910k W. They may be small but their carbon composition ensures a powerful performance. A 1K, 0.25 W resistor only 6.4mm long will absorb a 12KV pulse with a minimal change in delta R.
