Remploy Electronics appoints Production Scheduler

Remploy has appointed Adam Broad as group master production scheduler, a new role that has been introduced as part of Remploy Electronics’ ongoing business process review. This pivotal role has been created for long term planning to ensure that all Remploy Electronics sites run smoothly in the three main process areas: new product introduction, enquiry to order, and order to shipment.

Adam started with the company in March 2003 as materials controller and buyer and was promoted at the end of 2004 to production controller at the Holloway site. With his vast knowledge and experience with the company, Adam will oversee all orders across Remploy Electronics’ sites to ensure speed of delivery and quality are maintained and continually improved.

Commenting on the appointment, John Baker, business development manager, Remploy Electronics, said: “This new role is a crucial part of Remploy’s medium to long term planning. With the volume of our manufacturing business increasing we are taking steps to ensure that all our customers receive their orders on time and at the quality levels to which they are accustomed.”
