Small transducer pair – is it the World’s smallest?

Knowles’ new HiFi FK system is capable of delivering over 110dB drive, which is >15dB more output than at higher frequencies than single balanced armature receivers can deliver, in a package 33% smaller than existing ED receiver series.

The HiFi FK System consists of a wideband FK which functions as a high frequency ‘tweeter’ and a standard FK which functions as a lower-frequency ‘woofer’. These two components are then joined with a simple crossover filter. The HiFi FK system is well suited for applications that require high fidelity.

The HiFi FK Receiver offers improved wide-band performance from Knowles proven Receiver Series. Samples available now with full production scheduled for Q3 2006.

All Knowles components will comply with RoHS Directives with effect from July 2006
