With the MS-98F6 DATA MODUL introduces a new 3.5in. SBC powered by the latest Intel Celeron N2930/J1900 processors, a system-on-chip (SoC) with the codenamed “Bay Trail”. Based on the 22nm Silvermont microarchitecture, these new processors are designed for intelligent systems and applications with low power consumption and high performance requirements.

The board is a fanless design that supports one 204-pin DDR3L SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB DDR3L 1333/1600 SDRAM capacity.

Along VGA and HDMI it has one Dual Channel 24 bit LVDS interface and supports the following dual display configurations: CRT+LVDS, CRT+HDMI, HDMI+LVDS.

Furthermore the MS-98F6 offers a multitude of other interfaces like 1 x USB 3.0, 7 x USB 2.0, 6 x COM (one of them is switchable to RS232/422/485), 8 GPIOs, 1 x SATA, HD Audio and Dual Gigabit Ethernet.

A special feature is that it provides two Mini-PCIe slots (one with mSATA support) which makes it very flexible in the field and expandable for many different embedded applications.

The MS-98F6 has a guaranteed long-term availability of at least 5 years and is an ideal solution for many intelligent systems, such as kiosk, vending machine, POS & ATMs, automotive, retail, medical, security and in-vehicle infotainment.
