Software extension ushers in new approach to signal recording
The R3000 Signal Archive is a software-defined extension to the IZT R3000 receiver family. It receives the data from the actual receiver and buffers it in the memory. This approach allows users to visualise and extract any signal in the entire memory depth without having to interrupt recording.
Compact test system does it all
JOT Automation has introduced the modular JOT M10 which is claimed to offer the highest test capacity in a tiny footprint. The compact JOT M10 provides reliable testing of the full range of applications with a single platform on the factory floor.
Rework System for mobile and small format boards
VJ Electronix Inc, well known for its advanced X-ray inspection systems, has introduced a new and improved Micra Rework System for mobile and small format boards. The Micra is designed for rework of smaller, high performance components, such as Chip Scale Packages (CSP), Package on Package (PoP), and Micro Passives (01005).
In-line X-ray inspection systems on show in Munich
Viscom's X7058 was specially developed for an ultra-fast, in-line-capable automatic 3D X-ray inspection of electronic assemblies. With this system, the entire electronic assembly is 100 percent 3D-inspected and will be of particular interest for EMS companies which need to produce and inspect complex, high-value electronic assemblies at the highest quality efficiently and at low cost.
Mirtec highlights AOI at productronica
MIRTEC will launch its advanced MV-6 OMNI 3D Series in Hall A2, Stand 139 at productronica. The new high-speed, high-performance 3D AOI machine boasts 15 mega pixel CoaXPress camera technology, as well as advanced eight phase color lighting system.
TDR option enhances semiconductor quality analysis
A new TDR Option for Advantest’s TS9000 series of terahertz analysis systems has been released. It enables analysis of circuit quality in semiconductors, printed substrates, electronic components, and other applications, utilising short-pulse terahertz waves.
SAR emissions measurement system meets IEC standards
An instant SAR measurement system with a fixed probe-array for large devices, the ART-BODY has been released by ART-Fi. It is used for SAR measurement of all kinds of small cells, laptops, and tablets, and measures body SAR as specified in the IEC 62232 and IEC 62209-2 standards.
Safety analyser speeds medical equipment testing
A handheld safety analyser for the routine electrical testing of basic medical and laboratory equipment has been introduced by Rigel Medical. The SafeTest 60 is a compact, robust and reliable safety analyser that is particularly well suited to high volume testing demands, with a simple colour coded user interface, push button operation and the fast step-through of test routines.
productronica: Optimise your ATE
The access to nodes of assemblies with ever increasing complexity is more and more difficult and results in reduced fault coverage. Test engineers worry about this daily. So JTAG Technologies’ motto for this productronica year reads: Optimise your ATE with JTAG Technologies Inside.
productronica gets the X-Ray treatment from Scienscope
Scienscope will display its X-Scope 6000 and X-Scope 1800 at productronica. The X-Scope 1800 Cabinet X-Ray Inspection System features a large inspection area with oblique angle viewing capabilities and is an integral part of the X-Scope Series. Key features include a 90kV 5 micron, micro-focus sealed X-Ray tube, a standard high resolution digital flat panel detector, computer controlled kV and mA settings, and variable speed X-Y stage.
