Electrometer-grade op amp enables precise chemical analysis
Analog Devices has introduced an electrometer-grade operational amplifier that enables chemical analysis instruments to achieve the highest level of precision and data repeatability over a wider temperature range in a compact solution that reduces overall BOM and design footprint. The ADA4530-1 op amp achieves this with an input bias current that is at least 20 times lower than competing devices.
Maple T.A. now supports the LTI standard
Maplesoft announced an important update to Maple T.A., its powerful online testing and assessment system designed especially for courses involving mathematics. Suitable for use in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) courses, Maple T.A. now supports the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard. This means Maple T.A. can be easily integrated with course management systems that support LTI. Maplesoft officially supports LTI...
Reliable electronics despite heat or cold
Electronic components in safety-relevant applications such as medical, automotive and aerospace technology must function 100% reliably under all temperature conditions. To analyse the reliability of electronics under extreme temperatures, Rehm Thermal Systems has developed a completely new series: Securo Plus for hot function tests and Securo Minus for cold function tests. The systems can simulate precisely these extreme environmental conditions ...
Model libraries simplfy MCU test process
Specific VarioTAP model libraries for universal processor emulation for the XMC family of Infineon have been announced by Goepel electronics. The processor is reconfigured to provide design-integrated test and programming instruments via the native debug port. A respective VarioTAP model, as part of an extensive IP library, contains all relevant access information for the respective target processor.
STI plug-in enhances audio test software
A Speech Transmission Index (STI) plug-in for Audio Precision’s APx500 audio test software has been released. Created for engineers developing public safety (police, fire, emergency) communications and public address systems, as well as flight recorder devices, the APx STI plug-in provides measurement capabilities conforming to international standard IEC 60268-16 (2011).
Testing time for Marvin at productronica
Marvin Test Solutions is co-exhibiting with its distributor LXinstruments at Productronica 2015 held in Munich on November 10-13.
PXIe vector signal analyser moves to 50GHz frequency
A 50GHz frequency extension has been added to Keysight's M9393A PXIe performance Vector Signal Analyser (VSA), providing frequency coverage previously unseen in modular instrumentation with coverage of Ka-band frequencies and beyond. It delivers mmW measurement technology in a PXI form factor for manufacturing and design validation of modems, transponders and sub-components for commercial and military satcomms.
DC electronic loads offer high power ratings
Designed for the automated testing of a wide range of power supplies and batteries, the new Chroma 63200A series DC electronic loads provide ultra-high precision voltage and current measurement. They also offer high power ratings from 4 kW to 24 kW and up to 2000 A in a single unit.
Precision DC calibrator eases testing at high currents and voltages
The Yokogawa 2560A precision DC calibrator offers a simple, stand-alone solution for the testing and calibrating DC measuring instruments such as analogue meters, clamp meters, thermometers, temperature transmitters and data loggers. The 2560A generates signals over a wide output range to enable the testing of products over their full operating ranges.
Software option eases design of MIPI D-PHY interfaces
A new option from Rohde & Schwarz permits R&S RTO oscilloscopes to trigger on DSI- and CSI-2 specific protocol data (display and camera) and to decode the acquired waveforms into readable protocol content. The R&S RTO-K42 software option supports developers during the design, verification and debugging of modules with MIPI D-PHY based interfaces.
