Businesses to implement next gen in-vehicle networks
Spirent Communications has announced that its Automotive Ethernet BroadR-Reach Conformance and Performance test solution has been selected by Renault. It will be used to help develop next gen in-vehicle networks that provide drivers and passengers with the multiple benefits of connected cars.
Multiple test solutions on parade at productronica
Solutions for measurement challenges in automotive, energy, semiconductors, materials, wireless and more will be demonstrated by Keysight Technologies at productronica, 10th to 13th November 2015, Messe München, Munich. An Automotive Body and Safety Reference solution is supplied by the TS-8989 PXI functional test system.
Transmitter test solution targets mobile storage devices
A fully automated physical layer transmitter test solution for the MIPI M-PHY 3.1 specification and Conformance Test Suite (CTS) 3.1 has been released by Tektronix. The solution supports M-PHY High Speed Gears 1, 2 and 3, PWM Mode (G0-G7), and SYS Mode and offers the industry’s lowest noise solution for M-PHY measurements when used with Tektronix DPO70000SX or MSO/DPO70000DX oscilloscopes and P7600 series probes.
Software release ushers in simple automated tests
The latest version of its BenchVue software has been released by Keysight Technologies. The intuitive, easy-to-use PC software application provides multiple-instrument measurement visibility and data capture that eliminates the need for instrument programming. This 3.0 version of BenchVue introduces a new capability that allows for custom creation of simple automated tests.
High-speed, high-accuracy AOI at productronica
CyberOptics has announced that it showcase its new SQ3000 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) system and launch advanced new product features at productronica.
Screw-in test probe for cable harness testing
The new P53/G from Peak Test Services is a series of screw-in threaded test probes designed for use in test modules for cable harness testing. The new compact probe has a total length of only 25.2 mm inclusive of receptacle. It is designed for use at 2.54 mm centres, has a continuity resistance of 20 milliohms, and operates at currents up to 5 A.
Plug-in modules upgrade data acquisition recorders
Three products have been added to the range of plug-in measurement modules for Yokogawa’s DL850E/DL850EV ScopeCorder family of portable multi-channel data-acquisition recorders, bringing the total number of modules available to 19. The units are the 720211 high-speed (100MS/s) 12-bit isolation module, the 720243 SENT monitor module (available only for the DL850EV Vehicle Edition ScopeCorder) and the 720254 4-channel 1MS/s 16-bit isolation m...
How to Manage Component Reel Inventory
VJ Electronix will highlight its new high-performance Summit II and XQuik II with AccuCount for counting components stored in reels at productronica 2015.
RF spectrum analyser can capture 200,000 data points
The PSA Series 5 RF spectrum analysers from Aim-TTi have been enhanced to include high resolution capture of signals over a wide span. Option U02 now includes an extra facility called Scan Mode. The frequency resolution of a conventional spectrum analyser is defined by the chosen RBW filter.
RF receiver offers adaptive preselector
An RF receiver providing a high performance solution for the interception of RF signals has been introduced by IZT. Instead of standard solutions with fixed filters, the R3500 offers a highly linear, flexible preselector with electronically configurable start- and stop frequencies. Modern, automatic signal classifiers are able to simultaneously analyse several MHz of spectrum for any signals of interest.
