Solid state relay features 45mm DIN rail model
Sensata Technologies has announced it has added the Crydom DR45 Series Solid State Relay (SSR) to its NOVA22 family for use in industrial machinery, HVAC&R and railway vehicles. This new DIN rail mount SSR offers high power density up to 60A at 40°C in a compact, 45mm package and is the only solid state relay capable of accepting output wires up to 3 AWG with an IP20 protection rating.

Infineon Technologies has expanded its product portfolio of the thin-wafer technology TRENCHSTOP5 IGBT. The new product family is offering up to 40A 650V IGBT, co-packed with a full rated 40A diode in a surface mounting TO-263-3 also known as D2PAK. The new TRENCHSTOP 5 IGBT in D2PAK package serves the growing demand for higher power density in power devices for automated surface mounted assembly.

TI's DRV870x-Q1 family of devices is a single H-bridge gate driver that uses four external N-channel MOSFETs targeted to drive a bidirectional brushed-DC motor. A PH/EN, independent H-Bridge, or PWM interface allows simple interfacing to controller circuits. An internal sense amplifier provides adjustable current control. The gate driver includes circuitry to regulate the winding current using fixed off-time PWM current chopping.
Low power radio for IoT applications demonstrated with Arm
At this year’s Bluetooth Asia event, imec will demonstrate a new ultra low power radio for IoT applications, with Arm (at booth 49). The radio combines imec’s latest transceiver frontend, operating from a nominal supply as low as 0.8V, with Arm’s qualified and silicon-proven Cordio Bluetooth low energy 5 digital baseband.

Lanner Electronics has launched next-gen rugged, fanless V3 series vehicle gateway controllers - V3G and V3S. While V3G is targeted for smart bus implementation, including fleet management and passenger information display, V3S aims at video surveillance, recording and analytics. The V3 series gateways can operate under wide temperature range (-40 to 70°C), indicating their reliability in harsh environment.
