Now available exclusively in the UK from Aerco is the RAZL-1500 range of Hall-effect current transducers from New Zealand company, Raztec NZ, that is designed to provide a safe, galvanically isolated, accurate and dependable current
measurement for bus bars rated up to a maximum of 4,500A.

lable in both tab and face mounting formats the RAZL-1500 will find applications in the automotive, traction, industrial, marine, energy and domestic appliance markets. Raztec current transducers use the effect that when a current flows it produces a magnetic field proportional to that current. A Hall-effect sensor placed within the current transducer senses the strength of the magnetic field and produces an output proportional to the current flowing.
