Murata introduces world's first and smallest 01005-size Hi-Q MLCC
Murata today announced the GJM02 series of monolithic ceramic chip capacitors (MLCC) specifically designed for use in high frequency module applications such as for coupling in power amplifiers of cellular phone handsets. Believed to be the world’s first 01005 size (EIA) Hi Q type MLCC, this miniature capacitor measures just 0.4 x 0.2 mm and has both high ‘Q’ and low equivalent serial resistance (ESR) characteristics.
High Inductance EMC chokes
Almag have released data covering their latest HVCM and HVSM ranges of common-mode and differential-mode EMC chokes. These chokes are board-compatible with widely used catalogue types, but use higher performance cores to offer about twice the inductance.
Floating Surge Stopper Provides Unlimited Overvoltage Protection
Linear Technology Corporation introduces the LTC4366, an overvoltage protection controller for electronic systems. Operating from 9V to greater than 500V, the LTC4366 floating surge stopper utilizes an adjustable floating topology to enable very high voltage operation independent of the voltage rating of the LTC4366’s internal circuitry.
knitter-switch - TS 4533-RA Tiny tactile Pushbutton Switch
Knitter-switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, just announced a very small, tactile, pushbutton switch that now completes its popular TS/TSS 4500 series. Unlike other models in the 4500 series, the TS 4533 – RA pushbutton switch has a horizontal stem making it ideal for a variety of applications that demand a very small and very robust momentary action pushbutton.
New Ohmite heatsinks accommodate up to 3 TO-220, TO-247 or TO-264 devices
Available in sizes to fit design requirements, the new C Series of heatsinks from Ohmite combines excellent thermal performance with a component attachment mechanism which will save time and money in the event of an upgrade or a simple replacement.
DMTL at Southern Manufacturing - New franchise to be announced
DMTL is using its first outing at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics (15 and 16 Feb 2012 – FIVE Farnborough) to demonstrate its total passive component capability. Key reasons to visit DMTL at the show include an opportunity to discuss the latest AVX devices with AVX engineers, the launch of a significant passive component franchise and details of a new family of 3mm trimmer capacitors replacing the now obsolete AVX Kyocera CTZ3 range.
knitter-switch open new Sales, Quality and Logistics Facility in Hong Kong
knitter-switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, has moved its Hong Kong office to a larger facility which, in addition to offering increased sales services, also provides extended quality management services for all products manufactured in Asia.
Belden introduces three new SPIDER PD switches from its Hirschmann™ product range
Belden has added three new unmanaged low-cost switches from the SPIDER series to its Hirschmann product range. These switches support Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) and have either five twisted-pair ports (SPIDER 5TX PD EEC) or one twisted-pair port and one fiberoptic port for multimode (SPIDER 1TX/1FX-MM PD EEC) or singlemode optical fiber (SPIDER 1TX/1FX-SM PD EEC).
