Harwin showcase Mil-Aero connectors at Paris Air Show
Exhibiting on Stand FG176 in Hall 2B at the Paris Air Show, Le Bourget, 15th to 21st June, Harwin will demonstrate its Mil-Aero connectors and Datamate, Gecko and M300 high-reliability connector systems which withstand the severe shock, vibration and temperature conditions experienced in satellites, commercial and military aircraft, UAVs and spacecraft.
X-Dry blocks moisture transmission in connectors
A waterproof connector with X-Dry technology, the Techno TH392, has been introduced by Hylec-APL. All cables are hydroscopic to some degree and will therefore absorb moisture that can collect inside the cable sheath, moving along its length and even crossing terminations in the cable. The X-Dry technology blocks moisture transmission across terminals, protecting electrical and electronic equipment.
EMI shielded D-Sub connector is Space qualified
A rugged high speed addition to Smiths Connectors’ D-Sub Series has been introduced. This line of high-impedance connectors is offered with 150ohm Quadrax contacts. It has been designed to ground the outer shield Quadrax directly to the shell of the connector, providing minimal RF noise, a compelling differentiator amongst D-Sub offerings.
Disposable connectors meet medical applications
Connectors and cable assemblies for medical device manufacturers - designed to be disposable after a small number of uses - are now available from Astute Electronics. The push-pull circular connector provides competitive pricing and performance needed for disposable medical devices.
