Saft rail battery systems will keep the power on for Bombardier’s new Stansted Express Electrostar trains

Saft MRX specialized rail battery systems are providing reliable onboard backup power to support critical safety and control functions on Bombardier Transportation’s new Class 379 Electrostar EMU (electric multiple unit) trains now being introduced on the Stansted Express services between Stansted Airport and London city as well as the route between Liverpool Street Station and Cambridge.
