Signal ASICs for inline processes

To meet the demand for signal electronics for fast real-time signal conversion in inline processes, MAZeT has expanded its range of signal ASICs. The range comprises the MTI04 and MTI08 TransImpedance Amplifiers (TIAs) and analogue converters and the MDDC04AQ and MCDC04EQ current-to-digital converters.

  To address the discontinuation of ASIC components, MAZeT has devised a redesign strategy for digital and mixed-signal devices. The new ASIC will be compatible with the original ASIC, both in terms of its functionality and connection options.

Specific embedded systems demonstrated at embedded world

At embedded world 2015, MAZeT presented customer projects and examples of complex embedded-computing modules at its booth shared with PHOENIX CONTACT. Other products demonstrated included multi-LED control sensors, required when the application is required to constantly generate a specific mixed colour or colour temperature during the entire lifecycle or in a specific scenario.

Intelligent light control demos on stage at electronica

MAZeT will focus on demonstrating applications related to intelligent light control and customised medical electronics at electronica in Munich (Nov 11-14). Achieving homogenous light output values using LEDs and electronics of different manufacturers can be a challenging task, especially for dynamic control options. Traditionally, purchasing very narrow and limited LED binnings have been a costly solution to this problem.

At this year's SENSOR + TEST and Lightfair International, MAZeT GmbH will be demostrating their latest sensor solutions for the applications of LED light control and management. The SENSOR + TEST trade fair is due to take place in Nuremberg from June 3rd to 5th 2014, with MAZeT exhibiting from hall 12, booth 131. The 2014 Lightfair International is being held in Las Vegas from 1st to 5th June, with MAZeT exhbiting from the Avnet Electronics Marketing booth.

Along with more than 80 other exhibitors, MAZeT GmbH participated in the academix Thüringen, which took place for the first time in Erfurt's exhibition centre on December 14, 2011. The academix is Thuringia's first state-wide careers fair for students, graduates and young professionals and was promoted throughout Germany.

Multi-channel Sensor

MAZeT has announced a new 4-channel MDDC sensor signal amplifier for sensors with current input; the on chip solution is capable of digitising low levels of current input at high speeds with high bandwidths and dynamics. The MDDS is suitable for handling rapidly changing process parameters that sensors provide in applications such as inline measurement of colour, pressure etc. for realtime control of automated processes.

Controlled RGB-LED color light regulation wins Innovation Award

MAZeT won the first prize in the field of Light & Life of the 12th Thuringia Innovation Award 2009 with their innovative controlled LED color light regulation. December 8th, 2009, in front of a broad audience of known representatives of the economic, politic, scientific and media sector, Dr. Fred Grunert - executive of the MAZeT GmbH - received the Innovation Award during the ceremonial events of the Innovation Day Thuringia 2009 in the conference center of the exhibition grounds of the Messe Erfurt.

Spectral Sensor Systems from MAZeT for Process Analytics
MAZeT has introduced multi-range spectral sensors that MAZeT uses as basis for developing and supplying application-specific sensor modules for its customers. The sensors can be adapted to the particular application both in regard to the number of spectral channels and the spectral transmission characteristics of each channel. The first sensor presented in this design has six spectral channels, whose filters from 400 nm to 700 nm overlap one another and are uniformly distributed over this range.

MAZeT GmbH offers the IP core certified by the originator for the EnDat master for implementation in FPGAs and ASICs. The serial communication interface for rotary and linear distance measuring systems was developed by MAZeT and maintained as product. In customized applications, it is often required to directly integrate this interface into the FPGA or ASIC.

MAZeT offers Interbus-IP for customized FPGA and ASIC implementation

MAZeT GmbH offers IP cores for the Interbus protocol (SUPI4 / Phoenix Contact) for implementation in FPGAs and ASICs. The protocol chip for serial communication interfaces in automation technology was developed and maintained by MAZeT. The SUPI4 protocol chip, presented by Phoenix Contact at SPS/IPC Drives 2008, is an implementation of the Interbus-IP core, which has enhanced functionality in comparison to the previous protocol ASIC SUPI3.
