MAZeT will be presenting its latest products and innovative sensor solutions for controlling LEDs at the Light+Building 2016. This international trade fair is being held from 13 to 18th March 2016 and MAZeT will be located at Booth G10 in Hall 4.0.

MAZeT’s sensor solutions ensure consistent colour, colour temperature, and brightness levels, even for flickering of LEDs. MAZeT will also be showcasing various LED control solutions that rely on mobile devices. “Our LED-based RGBx light box impressively demonstrates how a smartphone or tablet can be used to precisely control the colour, colour temperature and brightness, without allowing temperature, aging, or outside influences to affect the visible colour at any point during the entire lifecycle,” explains Frank Krumbein, Product Manager for Colour and Spectral Sensoring, MAZeT. “It is possible to control multiple light boxes in parallel, depending on the kind of wireless connection. Either all boxes light up in a specific colour mixed according to the RGBW scheme, or you can set up a scenario with different colours.”

When the same colour is displayed on all light boxes, the human eye is guaranteed not to register any differences in colour. The colour also remains stable even when operating conditions change or if LEDs of various types or from different bins are used. A True Colour sensor from the JENCOLOR product range ensures that the colour remains constant. MAZeT will also be introducing the MTCS-CDCAF colour sensor, the first fully-integrated sensor chip solution in the JENCOLOR product line with a true-colour filter function.

This colour sensor also offers integrated signal amplification based on charge-to-digital conversion and an on-chip temperature sensor. The sensors are complemented by wireless transmission technology, software libraries, test boards and operating software for Windows and Android. MAZeT offers the electronics and control system to luminaire manufacturers and system integrators as series-produced OEM modules.
