Densitron now offers a wide range of Mono OLED displays, covering screen sizes from 0.66” to 5.5”. Comprehensive technical support on this range is available to design engineers. Apart from Mono OLED displays, Densitron also supplies Alphanumeric and Full Colour OLEDs.
The latest Densitron High Brightness TFT range covers display sizes of 4.3” (DET043QQNTNT0-1A), 5.7” (DET057VGHLNT0-1A), 7” (DET070WVHTNT0-1A) and 10.1” (DET101WSNLNT0-1A). Further screen sizes will follow shortly and all modules in the range also come in standard brightness options.
The versatility of OLED displays is evident through their adoption by companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Many organisations chose OLED for its vivid images, excellent contrast ratio and an almost 175° viewing angle, which allow their offerings to be clearly differentiated from their rivals’.
Current users of the recently discontinued Seiko Instruments (SII) TFT displays will be pleased to know that Densitron is developing a range of industrial grade TFTs that can be used as drop-in replacements for the obsolete parts. These Densitron-exclusive models cover the entire existing SII display range of sizes between 2” and 7”, with resistive touch versions available.
Densitron’s new DET Industrial TFT range, covering 4.3”, 5.7”, 7” and 10.1”, is an adaptable choice for
design engineers looking for displays that provide the optimal interface, brightness level and touch sensor option for their applications.
Densitron’s new Character OLED modules provide a cost-saving and mechanically compatible solution to Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) users who are looking for a replacement/upgrade option that offers greater value. Compared to VFDs, OLED displays have faster response time and wider viewing angle (near 170°), as well as higher contrast (10000:1), brightness (100 cd/m2) and colour saturation without the need for colour filters. OLED modules offer up to 50K hours half-life time and consume 50% less power than VFDs. The space between each OLED pixel is 5 times less than that of a VFD, enabling a smoother graphic display.
New Industrial Rugged TFT modules designed specifically for demanding environments are now available from Densitron. The new Mitsubishi displays, ranging from 5” to 12.1”, offer a super-wide viewing angle of 170-degree horizontal/vertical, an operating temperature range of up to -30~80°C and an outstanding outdoor visibility with brightness level of up to 1000 nits. The TFT modules also come with long-term supply guarantee and adopt an advanced LED backlight that has a typical lifetime of 100,000 hours.
The latest Mitsubishi additions include Wide Format WVGA 5” (AA050MG01), 5” with touch (AA050MG01-T1) and 7” (AA070MC01), Wide Format WXGA 10.6” (WXGA AA106TA01), and Standard Format SVGA 8.4” (AA084SC01), 10.4” (AA104SJ02) and 12.1” (AA121ST01) TFT displays. The New Rugged TFT modules are designed specifically for industrial applications and demanding environments.
Densitron introduced a new 15.6” projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panel which supports a multi-touch interface with as many as 16 simultaneous touches. The new panel will bring the kind of engaging user interface made popular on smartphones to a much wider range of applications.
A powerful and user-friendly evaluation kit for Character OLED displays is now available from Densitron (Europe). The new demonstration tool can drive OLED displays from the USB port of a desktop or laptop PC and automatically detects a connected display to customise initialisation.
New display sizes of 2.4” and 3.5” have just been added to Densitron Europe’s DBC TFT series which is designed with portable applications in mind to meet their high sunlight readability and low power consumption requirements. Displays in the range come with long-term availability guarantee and an extended lifetime of 50,000 hours.
Densitron (Europe) is pleased to introduce a new projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panel. This larger-size PCAP will bring the kind of engaging user interface made popular on smartphones to a much wider range of applications, including environmentally challenging embedded systems and applications made for multiple users to use simultaneously.
With the addition of 10 new models, Densitron now offers a wide range of 38 industrial grade Seiko Instruments (SII) TFTs which utilize SII-unique and advanced LCD technologies to provide display solutions that are optimal both in terms of cost and performance for different applications. Displays in the range are available from 2” to 7” and have resolutions from QVGA to WVGA. The series comes with long-term availability guarantee and touch screen options. Touch panels bonded using SII’s unique Airless Direct Bonding technique can achieve a dustless bonding result that produces excellent sunlight readability and increased impact strength.
Densitron will be running information-packed workshop focusing on E-paper (as used on eBooks) and Projected Capacitive Touchscreen (PCTs) (as used on the Apple iPhone) technologies in June. The event is free to attend and will also be broadcasted live as a webinar.
Densitron has just added 10 new models to its already extensive range of 2” to 7” industrial grade Seiko Instruments (SII) TFTs. The series utilizes SII-unique and advanced LCD technologies to provide display solutions that are optimal both in terms of cost and performance for different applications, and comes with long-term availability guarantee and touch screen options.
Densitron has developed a powerful and extremely easy-to-use evaluation and demonstration tool for its ultra-bright Negative Mode 1RU, 2RU, 1/16th and 1/8th DIN LCDs with coloured LED backlights.
