3D Systems help bring the Great Pagoda back to life

If a building has been around for 256 years, there is a chance it isn’t going to look as good as it originally did. This is certainly the case with the Great Pagoda in the middle of Kew Gardens, which was originally built for Princess Augusta back in 1762. But last year the Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) implemented a restoration project for the 72 dragons that originally adorned the roofs.

3D printers to win the race against time for part production

It has been announced by 3D Systems that Sauber Motorsport AG, the company operating the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team, has added five new ProX 800 SLA 3D Printers to its headquarters and engineering facilities in Hinwil, Switzerland, within the scope of a new partnership agreement between 3D Systems and the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team.

3D Systems has launched the new DMP Flex 100 and DMP Dental 100 3D printers, introducing superior quality, versatility and throughput for entry-level metal 3D printing and dental applications. Designed to be used flexibly for R&D, application development and production, the DMP Flex 100 provides up to twice the throughput compared to 3D Systems’ previous entry-level metal 3D printer, the ProX DMP 100.
