Tool for the precise inspection of adhesive beads
Suitable for the recognition of disruptions, slubs and contractions on adhesive beads, the EyeSens AdBead tool has been announced by Eye Vision Technology. A tool for the inspection of adhesive beads, the core of the machine vision system is a specially developed method for the control of adhesive bead surfaces.
Upgrade promotion celebrates scope anniversary
Agilent Technologies is celebrating the third anniversary of its InfiniiVision X-Series oscilloscopes by offering a powerful new investment-protection programme called “Upgrade to Your Ultimate Scope”. With this promotion, users can turn on all software applications on their X-Series oscilloscopes instantly, including the arbitrary waveform generator and digital voltmeter.
Software release upgrades RF signal test and analysis
Averna has launched a new software release for RF Studio, featuring the ability to synchronise four channels within 1ns, among other enhancements. For multiband applications like precision GPS – with signals found simultaneously in L1, L2 and L5 bands – multiple phase-coherent RF channel support is a crucial requirement, especially for development and characterisation of RF receivers and the environments they are designed to operate i...
Vector signal transceiver tests latest wireless standards
National Instruments’ NI PXIe-5646R vector signal transceiver has 200 MHz of RF bandwidth, making it ideal for testing the latest wireless standards such as IEEE 802.11ac, 160 MHz WLAN and LTE Advanced. Engineers can use the open software design of the vector signal transceiver to develop channel emulation systems, radio prototyping, custom real-time signal processing for spectrum analysis and many other applications.
Radiometer simplifies the monitoring of UV-curing
Offering accurate and repeatable measurement of UV light, the ACCU-CAL 150 is a simple to use radiometer from Intertronics. This radiometer can measure UV light up to 10W/cm2 emitted from stationary light-curing flood lamps or lamps used in conveyor based processes and can also be used to determine intensity (mW/cm2) or total energy as derived from intensity and exposure time (mJ/cm2).
AOI camera module with 3D technology on show at APEX
At the IPC APEX EXPO, March 25-27, 2014 in Vegas, Nevada, Viscom will highlight the 3D function in the AOI high-performance camera module XM. The company will also present their portfolio for solder paste inspection (SPI), automated optical inspection (AOI), conformal coating inspection (CCI) and X-ray inspection.
200MHz to 1GHz scope features 5Gs/s sampling rate
Rohde & Schwarz is looking to increase its penetration of the mainstream and fast growing segment of the oscilloscope market. At embedded world 2014 it launched the RTE which is available with bandwidths ranging from 200MHz to 1GHz. It features an acquisition rate of more than one million waveforms per second for faster identification of signal faults.
Change based tool slashes source code testing time
Vector Software has introduced a new testing tool designed to save engineers time and money by identifying and testing only the source code that has changed. It means engineers will not have to undertake iterative tests across large applications which in some cases can take weeks.
Compact test scanner covers all LTE-A wavebands
Rohde & Schwarz will showcase the R&S TSME – a new, ultracompact drive test scanner for today's and tomorrow’s wireless communications standards and frequency bands. It measures 151m x 47mm x 93mm and weighs just 650g. It also consumes very little power, making it a solution for testing the quality of communications channels in the field as well as inside buildings where high data traffic presents a difficult set of problems.&...
Six-in-one oscilloscope premieres at Embedded World
“Ushering in a new age of oscilloscopes.” Tektronix is not being shy about its MD3000 Series of Mixed Domain Oscilloscopes launched today (February 25) at the Embedded World 2014 exhibition in Nuremberg. The instrument is firmly pitched at the mainstream oscilloscope market where frequencies range from 100MHz to 1GHz. Dave Farrell, general manager, Mainstream Oscilloscopes at Tektronix says this market sector is with over $500m, and h...
