The OKDL-T/6-W12, OKDL-T/12-W12 and OKDL-T/18-W12, delivering 6, 12 and 18A respectively, are capable of being monitored and configured via PMBus communications.
Coilcraft to exhibit at APEC 2016
Coilcraft’s Director of Technical Marketing, Len Crane, will be participating in several technical sessions at APEC 2016 starting on Saturday, March 19th, when he will be a panelist at a special pre-show workshop titled, “Power Magnetics at High Frequency - Solving the Black Magic!” The workshop is being sponsored by the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA) and the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS). Mr. Crane will ...
Synchronous boost DC/DC converter IC improves battery life
Designed for single-cell battery applications such as smartphones, ROHM announces the BD1865GWL compact, high-efficiency, high power synchronous boost DC/DC converter IC.
Low-power electric motors dissipate even less power
Expanding its Intelligent Power Module portfolio, STMicroelectronics has announced the SLLIMM-nano 2nd series, adding higher power levels and new package options that are especially suited to increasing the efficiency and reducing cost. The devices integrate three half-bridge high-voltage gate drivers, six IGBTs and six fast and ultra-soft freewheeling recovery diodes.
Dramatically reduce power loss & increase power density
Data centre operators can now get closer to an ideal Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.00 using the 48V PoL, single-stage DC/DC regulator from Maxim Integrated. The 48V single-stage to PoL conversion solution dramatically reduces power loss and increases power density.
SiC diode has low EMI for solar inverters
Switching performance and low EMI combine in the 1,200V SiC diode from Fairchild. It is designed for high-speed solar inverters and industrial applications.
Current transformers ensure high power efficiency & quality
Power quality specialist REO UK has launched a range of current transformers designed to ensure high power efficiency and quality by offering highly accurate linear current sensing and electricity metering. These transformers come in a selection of power ranges to suit industry sectors including automation, railway engineering and renewable energy.
Rectifiers outperform conventional switching diodes
Expanding its power semiconductor portfolio, Littelfuse has announced the MBR series Schottky barrier rectifiers (standard Schottky) and the DUR series ultrafast rectifiers. Designed to meet the general requirements of commercial and industrial applications, both series will be displayed at Electronica China, 15th to 17th March, 2016, in Shanghai, in Booth No. 3522 (E3 Hall).
UPS product line extended with native 480VAC configurations
Emerson Network Power has introduced five capacities of the Liebert eXM Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system for native 480V AC configurations. The models address critical applications with medium power 480V requirements, while providing cost control, efficiency and speed of deployment. The 480V AC models are available in 50 to 250kVA/kW in the Americas.
100W pure sine wave DC/AC inverters operate in harsh environments
The CSI-100-D1-IP66 series of rugged, DC/AC inverters deliver up to 100W pure sine wave output voltage. Microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology is used to convert 24, 36, 48 or 125VDC input to 115VAC at 60Hz or 400Hz, or 230VAC at 50Hz.
