Next-gen scalable ARM module
A new Minimodule has been released by TQ. With the embedded module TQMa57xx, the processor family AM57xx is used with the basis of a Cortex A15 by Texas Instruments. TQ can continue to support its customers with innovative products in the ARM area with the systematic selection of future-oriented technology. A Cortex A15 Core with up to 2x 1.5GHz is planned on the TQMa57xx module.
Plug and play modules stimulate electronics teaching
The Grove Zero kit from Seeed Studio contains a set of colour-coded, magnetic electronic modules that enables teachers and students to learn about programming, electronics, design, and logic. It is available to buy at Mouser Electronics. The kit is a collection of plug-and-play modules, each with a built-in microcontroller preconfigured with code.
Development kit accelerates Amazon Alexa designs
A variant of the Synaptics AudioSmart 2-Mic Development Kit for Amazon AVS has been released by Arrow Electronics, Synaptics and NXP Semiconductors. It is supported by a commercially available NXP system-on-chip (SoC) application processor.
Development kit delivers flexible MCU to IoT designs
The PSoC6 BLE Pioneer Kit from Cypress Semiconductor enables designers to begin innovating with the PSoC 6 microcontroller. It is now being shipped by Mouser Electronics.PSoC BLE 6 is a low power, flexible microcontroller with built-in BluetoothLow Energy wireless connectivity and integrated hardware-based security in a single device for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Development kit simplifies sensor evaluation
A development kit from Honeywell that enables the simple evaluation of sensors is available at RS Components. The Honeywell SEK001 sensor board does not require the development of code before receiving sensor measurements, enabling developers to start testing and prototyping right away.
Win a Microchip MCP6N16 evaluation board
Win a Microchip MCP6N16 Evaluation Board (ADM00640) from Electronic Specifier Product. The MCP6N16 evaluation board is designed to provide an easy and flexible platform when evaluating the performance of the MCP6N16, a Zero-Drift instrumentation amplifier designed for low voltage operation featuring rail-to-rail input and output performance.
Mouser goes global with IoT development boards
Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Pycom, a maker of multi-network Internet of Things (IoT) development boards and modules. The Pycom product line is based on the state-of-the-art Espressif ESP32 chipset and open source MicroPython scripting language.
Carrier boards join Mouser global portfolio
A global distribution agreement will see Mouser Electronics taking Auvidea’s embedded systems products into the market. Through the distribution agreement, Mouser stocks Auvidea’s J1xx family of carrier boards for the NVIDIA Jetson TX1 and TX2 compute modules. The J100 board matches the Jetson TX1 module’s 50 × 87mm footprint and connects to form a very compact processing unit to meet the compact size requirements of targe...
