Wilson Process Systems (WPS), the leading contract manufacturer, is exhibiting its full surface mount and through hole PCB assembly capabilities, plus a range of other outsource manufacturing services at the upcoming Southern Manufacturing exhibition, on February 10 and 11 at FIVE, Farnborough, Hants.
WPS is privately-owned, differentiating it from many other UK CEMs and allowing the company to be highly flexible and fast-reacting. The company continually invests in new equipment, yet retains older technology capabilities so that it can offer customers the most appropriate manufacturing approach.

This commitment to quality and service means that WPS is able to support many different industry sectors, including outdoor signage, industrial, defence and medical as well as general box build. Comments Sales Director, Nick Jones: “A recent report highlighted that 14% of companies surveyed who had transferred production to low cost manufacturing regions such as Eastern Europe or China have now brought production back to the UK. Obviously the weakness of Sterling is a factor, but variable quality of overseas work was also influential. We believe that EMS companies such as ourselves who have invested in technology, capacity and people are well-placed to respond to this upsurge in business.”
