Ecliptek Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of its new EMVA12 (2.5VDC) series and EMVA13 (3.3VDC) series Voltage Controlled MEMS Oscillators (VCMO) to its extensive frequency control product line. Utilizing an innovative MEMS resonator and oscillator technology, Ecliptek can ship these new voltage controlled MEMS oscillators in days as compared to the longer lead times associated with traditional VCXO devices.
These new RoHS compliant 5.0mm X 7.0mm four pad surface mount low profile VCMO devices can be delivered in frequencies up to 106.250MHz. A variety of configurations are available including frequency stability as low as ±50ppm maximum, commercial and industrial operating temperature ranges, 30,000G shock resistance as well as 50 ±5(%) duty cycle.

Additionally, the EMVA12 and EMVA13 MEMS oscillators offer absolute pull range (APR) performance to ±100ppm, reduced phase noise and excellent RMS phase jitter performance.

Our customers will appreciate the low sub-one-percent linearity that is achieved by our oscillator design over pull ranges of several hundred parts-per-million, said Thomas Culhane, Vice President of Engineering at Ecliptek Corporation.

These new Voltage Controlled MEMS Oscillators series provide a low jitter, low phase noise source needed for high performance applications such as Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL and HDSL), Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC), Cable Modems and SONET / ATM / SDH Equipment.
