LEGIC will be presenting its innovative technology at embedded world Exhibition & Conference in Nuremberg, 14-16th March 2017. Safety in IoT applications will be the focus.

For the second time, LEGIC will be represented by a booth at embedded world. In the area of wireless communication, the Swiss company is showing possible applications for their product and service portfolio for the secure identification and registration of devices and machines, as well as a one-of-a-kind authorisation and data management.

IoT vintage arcade game invites guests to game
At the LEGIC stand, there will be an arcade game from the 1980s equipped with the most modern LEGIC ID technology. This technology makes it possible to operate the vintage arcade game with an RFID smartcard or BLE-capable smartphone instead of a coin.

Even though the game machine is not connected to the network, it is connected to the Internet via a secure, end-to-end channel via the LEGIC app (based on LEGIC SDK). Due to the secured connection between the LEGIC Connect cloud service and the vintage arcade game, the latter becomes a part of the IoT and, therefore, becomes an IoT vintage arcade game.

In this way, using a registration process, every device can be connected to the cloud and be a part of the IoT, no matter how old it is.
