Radiometrix to Exhibit at Southern Manufacturing

Radio module manufacturer Radiometrix is to participate at this year’s Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition held at Five, Farnborough. Covering automation/robotics, design/prototyping, test/measurement and electronic components, it is the largest regional show of its kind in the UK, with over 400 suppliers exhibiting.

25kHz Narrowband Transceiver from Radiometrix

The TR3M has been developed by the team of wireless communications experts at Radiometrix. It is high-end multi-channel narrowband transceiver that operates in the European 868MHz band (though custom variants for any 3MHz frequency block from 860-870MHz are available on request). It supports data rates of up to 5kbits/s, and has a usable range of over 500m. Employing a 1200baud dumb modem it allows transmission across 80 different channels.

Radiometrix lends hand to US students

Wireless communication specialist Radiometrix has supplied two custom radio transceivers to Idaho State University for its Research Involving Student Engineers (RISE) program. The London-based company supplied the pair of customised UHX1 multi-channel radio transceivers tuned to a special VHF frequency (147MHz) with US distributor, Lemos International.
