Capabilities of  the TS-900 PXI semiconductor test platform have been extended by Marvin Test Solutions (MTS) with the addition of the TS-960e system which offers PXI Express (PXIe) performance and  expanded test capabilities for RF devices and SoC applications.

The advantages and capabilities of Marvin Test Systems’ field-proven, cross-platform, common armament test solutions for both legacy and new aircraft platforms will be showcased at the Farnborough Airshow (July 11-17).  Shrinking budgets and the necessity to ensure the readiness of legacy platforms has presented an ongoing challenge to those tasked with maintaining them using purpose-built legacy testers. 

Geotest-Marvin Test Systems has added two new PXI chassis to its product line - the GX7200, a 21-slot PXI Express chassis for supporting PXI-1, PXI-hybrid and PXIe modules, and the GX7800 is an 8-slot, 3U PXI chassis which can accommodate up to 7 instruments as well as an embedded 3-slot PXI controller or an external bus controller.

Responding to users’ requests for a switching / control card which can be customised for specific applications, Geotest has introduced the GX6196, a 6U PXI switch and control board that can be used to create custom switching, signal conditioning, or custom control interfaces.

Geotest today announced the introduction the GX1649, a 64 channel, PXI arbitrary waveform generator with 16 - bit amplitude resolution. The GX1649 offers the highest channel count in the industry for a PXI DC / AC source and features a wide output voltage range of +/- 15 volts.

Geotest has released the GX2065, a 6.5 digit PXI DMM for high performance measurement applications. The GX2065 is a full-featured, multifunction DMM and offers all of the capabilities associated with standard bench top DMMs including DCV, ACV, 2 and 4 - wire resistance measurements, and current measurements. Additionally, the GX2065 features a 3 MS/s, 16 bit, isolated input digitizer which allows users to acquire and analyze waveforms.
