Embedded system offers four PCI/PCIe expansion slots
A fanless embedded system, which is equipped with the 4th gen Intel Core i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processor in 22nm process and Intel Q87 Express chipset, has been released by Axiomtek. The ruggedised IPC934-230-FL features a total of four PCI/PCIe expansion slots, allowing the installation of a variety of off-the-shelf PCI/PCIe cards for configurable applications.
HMI panel allows for the 'highest' flexibility in the market
A 4.3” HMI panel has been released by ICOP Technology, expanding its range of 5.7 -15” panel PCs. According to the company, the expansion I/O bus featured within the HMI-043T allows for the highest flexibility and customisability available in the market.
150Mb/s 4G LTE module certified for major networks
u-blox's TOBY-L200 4G LTE module has achieved 'network compatible' status for North Americas largest LTE networks. According to the manufacturer, the 150Mb/s TOBY-L200 is the world’s smallest Category 4 LTE module at 24.8x35.6mm and operates over an automotive temperature range from -40 to +85°C.
Harsh environment cards provide ±15kV ESD protection
ACCES I/O Products has announced the release of a family of PCI Express Mini Cards, the mPCIe-ICM series. These isolated serial communication cards measure just 30x51mm and feature either two or four ports of isolated RS232 serial communications. 1.5kV isolation is provided port-to-computer and 500V isolation port-to-port on all signals at the I/O connectors.
Card selected for prepaid card loyalty programme
KDDI, a Japanese mobile operator, has selected NXP Semiconductor’s secure MIFARE DESFire EV1 for their loyalty programme in the ‘au WALLET’ prepaid card. The au WALLET service includes a loyalty programme where points based on the amount purchased via the card and monthly mobile bill can be earned. Since the launch in May 2014, five million ‘au’ network subscribers have applied for the au WALLET card.
Intel Atom E3800-based CPU operates from -40 to +85°C
ARBOR Technology announces the release of the EmETX-i2304 ETX 3.02 CPU module, based on the Intel Atom processors E3800 family. For increased flexibility, six versions of the EmETX-i2304 are available in various CPU combinations, including two models which support a wide operating temperature range of -40 to + 85°C, and another variant with TDP of just 6W.
Intel Atom processor E3800 & Celeron J1900 based panel PCs
Avalue Technology has announced the Intel Atom processor E3800 and Celeron J1900 product family applied Panel PC product line, including LPC, SPC, FPC, PPC and BFC series. Based on the 22nm Silvermont microarchitecture, the Intel Atom E3800 and Celeron J1900 processors are designed for intelligent systems and applications with low power consumption and high performance requirements.
Digital signage player offers 4K UHD video playback
Based on 4th Gen Intel Core processors, IBASE Technology has announced the SI-83 digital signage player with an 2.4GHz Intel Core i7-4500EQ or 2.7 Intel Core i5-4400E processor. The system is suitable for use in applications such as digital menu boards in restaurants, retail advertising in shopping malls and hotel lobby signage.
MIMO DAS antennas enable high multi-port performance
Expanding its PIMinator line of low PIM antennas, Pulse Electronics introduces its DAS in-building ceiling mount MIMO antennas. The DASLTE500NFMIMO antennas have high port-to-port isolation and superior gain patterns for both ports 1 and 2, providing wireless carriers with improved data throughput and implementation flexibility.
