After the launch of the latest MacBook, Apple has annouced a number of updated features, one being that it does not have any standard USB ports. To be able to adapt any current flash drives, phones, cameras and other USB devices, customers will need a special adapter. However, BeeKeeper has found a solution for this and it is an affordable, simple, versatile and effective solution.

The Beekeeper system is one cable that combines a USB-C to USB Adapter and a USB-C Charge Cable, allowing customers to connect iOS devices and your standard USB accessories to MacBook with USB-C port.

The two metre USB-C Charge Cable is a power cable with a standard USB male connector on one end and a USB-C connector on the other end. Use it with the BeeKeeper USB Adapter (in the package) and the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter to conveniently charge your MacBook with USB-C port from a wall outlet.

In daily usage, the adapter stays on the MacBook and keeps a standard USB port available at all time. The adapter is avaliable on its own or sold with the cable, which comes in 2, 3 or 5m. With an aluminium housing, the BeeKeeper is avaliable in silver, gold and space grey.

Development of the BeeKeeper is ongoing. To back the project click here.
